Privacy Policy

We believe a private process begins with being clear about how information is handled.

Last updated September 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Vantage Business Brokers ("Vantage," "we," "us" or "our") handles personal information through this website and the services connected to it. It applies to people who contact us about selling or buying a business, complete an assessment, request confidential opportunity information, sign a confidentiality agreement, apply to become a broker, or otherwise communicate with us through the site.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide. Depending on how you use the site, this may include:

  • Contact information, such as your name, email address, phone number, company, location, website or LinkedIn profile.
  • Seller information, including your reason for considering an exit, desired timing, post-sale goals, business readiness answers, assessment notes and related scores or observations.
  • Buyer information, including acquisition criteria, experience, available capital, financing plans, target size, timing and the opportunities you ask to review.
  • Confidentiality-request information, including a Vantage request reference, the opportunity involved and status information received from the NDA signing flow.
  • Broker-application information, including professional background, experience, markets, relationships and written application responses.
  • Anything else you include in a message or form response.

Our website hosting infrastructure may also receive basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser or device type, requested page, and the date and time of a request. Vantage does not currently use that information to build advertising profiles.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information that a form does not request.

Information stored in your browser

The site uses limited browser storage to preserve assessment progress and results, remember a submitted Buyer Profile during an opportunity request, and maintain a unique request reference. This information helps the requested experience work across steps in the same browser. It is not used for advertising.

At the date shown above, Vantage does not use advertising cookies, the Meta Pixel or a third-party site-analytics tag on this website. If those practices change, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choices required by applicable law.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Respond to questions and requests.
  • Evaluate seller readiness, buyer fit, opportunity access or broker-applicant fit.
  • Prepare for conversations and follow-up tasks.
  • Administer confidential-information and NDA workflows.
  • Create and maintain relevant contact, company, opportunity, deal, note and task records.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the site and our business processes.
  • Comply with law, protect rights and prevent misuse.

Submitting a form does not guarantee representation, qualification, access to an opportunity, a valuation, financing or a transaction.

How information is stored and shared

Vantage uses service providers that help operate the website and its business processes. HubSpot stores and processes CRM records, including contacts, companies, deals, notes, tasks and related associations. Jotform hosts the NDA signing experience and processes information you provide there, including signatures. Website hosting and technical providers process information necessary to deliver and secure the site.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, transaction participants or authorities when reasonably necessary for the purpose you requested, to protect legal rights, or to comply with law. Confidential business information is not automatically released to a buyer simply because an inquiry or NDA is submitted.

Vantage does not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. You can review HubSpot's privacy policy and Jotform's privacy policy for more information.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to a request, maintain appropriate business and transaction records, meet legal or contractual obligations, resolve disputes and protect our business. Retention periods vary based on the type of record, the relationship involved and applicable requirements. Browser-stored information may remain until it expires, is replaced or is cleared through your browser controls.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No website, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security. Email may not be an appropriate channel for highly sensitive information.

Your choices and privacy rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we maintain about you, or to limit certain uses. Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have additional rights under applicable U.S. privacy law, including rights to confirm processing, obtain a copy, correct inaccuracies, delete information, opt out of certain processing or appeal a denied request.

To make a request, email gary@thevantagebrokers.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. You can clear the site's browser-stored information using your browser controls.

Children's privacy

This site and Vantage's services are intended for adults involved in business ownership, acquisition or brokerage. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site, our services or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date will show when the latest version took effect. Material changes may also be highlighted on the site when appropriate.
