About Vantage

Representation
is personal.

Vantage was built by a business owner around a simple belief: the people navigating a business transition—and the people trusted to represent them—deserve to be taken care of.

Selling a company isn't simply a financial event. For many owners, it's the culmination of decades of work, risk, relationships and sacrifice.

And sometimes the hardest question isn't what the business is worth.

It's:What happens after the business no longer needs me?

Why Vantage exists

We saw two groups that deserved better representation.

Vantage Business Brokers was created in response to a growing need in the business-transition market.

More owners are approaching the point where they need to consider what happens to the companies they've spent years building.

We believed those owners needed representation focused not simply on listing a company, but on understanding its value, positioning it properly, proactively identifying potential buyers, protecting confidentiality and negotiating the structure of the eventual exit.

But we saw another need as well.

The brokers representing those owners needed a better home.

A place where talented brokers could become deeply connected to the business communities they serve. Where they could receive better training. Where they could build meaningful careers and relationships. And where they could participate more meaningfully in the economics of the work they produce.

01

For business owners

Representation worthy of what you built.

We help owners understand their business, prepare it for the market, communicate its value, identify potential buyers and navigate the decisions that ultimately shape an exit.

Because selling well isn't simply about finding someone willing to buy.

It's about making sure the business—and the owner behind it—are represented well throughout the process.

For business brokers

A better place to represent your community.

We're building Vantage around brokers who want to become trusted resources within the communities and industries they serve.

That means training, systems, support and a compensation structure designed to allow successful brokers to keep more of what they produce.

Because taking better care of brokers ultimately helps us take better care of owners.

Founder, Vantage Business Brokers

Gary Morris

Gary is a business owner and investor with experience across multiple sectors and more than two decades in marketing and working alongside business owners.

That perspective shapes how he approaches brokerage.

He understands the financial pressures of ownership—but also the parts that rarely appear on a financial statement: responsibility for employees, customers and families; decisions that follow an owner home; and the complicated transition that can occur when something that has occupied such a central place in your life is suddenly preparing to become someone else's.

Gary's path into brokerage grew naturally from years spent helping business owners build, position and grow their companies.

Eventually, many of those conversations changed from:“How do I grow this?”to“How do I eventually get out of this well?”

Vantage was built around answering that second question.

Our approach

The number is only part of the exit.

01Understand the value
02Make the value visible
03Find the right buyers
04Structure the right exit

A successful transaction isn't defined by a multiple alone.

The buyer matters. The financing matters. Cash at closing matters. The transition matters. The risk that remains after closing matters.

And what the owner wants their life to look like afterward matters.

We negotiate the exit.

The Vantage model

Local relationships.
A broader network.

Vantage is being built around brokers who become part of the business communities they represent—not simply names attached to listings.

At the same time, we're building a broader network of buyers, investors, business owners and acquisition relationships that can extend far beyond a single community.

The combination matters.

Representation should feel local and personal.

Reach shouldn't have to be.
